Our Mission
To preserve, protect, and promote the history, historical sites/structures, and the future of Texas 66 by
promoting the enjoyment, knowledge, and historical value of Texas 66 to the communities it connects,
for present and future travelers.
What We’ve Achieved
Helped bring Tesla charging stations to the
U Drop Inn in Shamrock.Designated the length of Route 66 through Texas as a Historic Corridor.
Hosted the 2018 International Route 66 Festival
in Shamrock.
Restored the 1928 Phillips station and Gas Pumps in Mclean Tx.
Hosted a “paint party” work day in Adrian to assist with the season opening of the MidPoint Cafe and Gift Shop.
Assisted with and organized multiple clean-up events along the Texas length of 66.
